What you’ll do
- Provide virtual nutrition counseling and Medical Nutrition Therapy within your clinical scope.
- Assess patient needs, develop evidence-based care plans, and follow progress across ongoing visits.
- Adapt your counseling to each patient’s goals, readiness, and barriers to change.
- Build an active caseload as your skills develop, while keeping accurate records and meeting clinical and scheduling standards.
- Participate in training and case review, apply feedback, and expand your treatment breadth and independence.
What you’ll bring
- A Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
- Applicable state licensure, or eligibility to obtain required licensure.
- Foundational clinical reasoning and an interest in outpatient nutrition care.
- Clear communication, dependable follow-through, and a willingness to learn from coaching.
Prior telehealth or outpatient experience can strengthen your application, but total years of dietetics experience do not determine fit for this pathway.

Developing Practice prepares dietitians for Primary Practice, our independent patient-care role. Advancement is based on demonstrated clinical and operational readiness, with no minimum time in the pathway. Your starting base salary is set when you join Developing Practice; advancement to Primary Practice brings an increase into that role’s salary range.

Compensation & benefits
$60,000–$66,000
per year
Eligible team members receive medical, dental, and vision coverage; employer healthcare contributions; a 401(k) with a 3% employer non-matching contribution; paid time off and holidays; and professional development support. Sensibly Sprouted also pays required professional liability insurance, state licensure fees, and CDR registration and renewal fees where applicable.
