About me

Zella M. Wheeler, RDN CD, is a registered dietitian who helps patients feel less overwhelmed by food and nutrition choices. She helps patients strip nutrition down to the basics, understand what matters most for their goals, and build a path forward that feels clear and doable.

Zella takes a supportive, practical, and encouraging approach to care. She enjoys helping patients reconnect with their bodys natural cues, improve their relationship with food, and create habits that support how they want to feel day in and day out. She believes food should enhance the life patients are already livingnot take over their day.

Zella especially enjoys working with families, children, and new mothers. She also supports patients with weight management goals, digestive health concerns, and building a more peaceful, confident relationship with food. Her approach focuses on realistic changes, patient education, and helping each person find strategies that fit their lifestyle, preferences, and needs.

Zella earned her Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition from Central Washington University, where she also completed a minor in Event Management. Outside of work, she enjoys running, walking her dog, dancing around the house to music, relaxing with coffee and crime shows, and spending time with friends at dog-friendly breweries.

What it's like working with me

Zella believes nutrition care should feel clear, supportive, and realistic. She works with patients to sort through confusing nutrition information, focus on what matters most, and build habits that support their health without making food feel overwhelming.

Her approach is warm, practical, and patient-centered. Zella helps patients identify where they want to go, understand what may be getting in the way, and take small, doable steps forward. She values education, encouragement, and helping patients feel more confident in their food choices.

Zella’s goal is to help patients enjoy food again while building a nutrition pattern that supports the life they want to live.
