Robby Buchsbaum, MS RDN CD is a registered dietitian nutritionist at Sensibly Sprouted with clinical experience across outpatient oncology, acute care, and community nutrition.
During his outpatient oncology training at UC Health Barrett Cancer Center, Robby provided individualized nutrition counseling, built ongoing patient rapport, and used motivational interviewing to support patients’ nutrition goals. His acute-care training included nutrition screening and assessment, patient education, care planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary medical teams. He also helped develop a six-week diabetes intervention program during his community nutrition training.
Robby earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees through the University of Cincinnati’s Accelerated Dietitian Nutritionist Program. He also has a background in culinary arts, which adds a practical food perspective to the way he approaches nutrition education and patient support.
Robby’s approach is client-focused, practical, and collaborative. He uses motivational interviewing and clear nutrition education to help patients connect health goals with realistic next steps.
His culinary background helps him keep food at the center of nutrition care, with an emphasis on strategies that can make sense in a patient’s actual routines rather than only on paper.
