MS, RDN, CD
Lisa supports patients with weight management, diabetes-related nutrition, sports nutrition, active lifestyles, and sustainable nutrition habits using a practical, encouraging approach.

Lisa C. Bertram, MS RDN CD, is a registered dietitian nutritionist at Sensibly Sprouted in Seattle, WA. She supports patients with weight management, diabetes-related nutrition, sports nutrition, active lifestyles, and sustainable nutrition habits.
Lisa’s approach is practical, encouraging, and personalized. She believes all foods can have a place in a balanced eating pattern, and she helps patients build confidence in choosing foods that support their health needs, preferences, activity level, and daily routines.
She has a strong interest in sports nutrition and helping people fuel for real life whether that means training, working out, managing a busy schedule, or simply getting through the day with more consistency. Lisa uses an additive approach to nutrition, focusing on what can be added to meals and snacks to support energy, satisfaction, and health-related goals.
Lisa understands that every person’s life looks different, so nutrition care should never feel one-size-fits-all. She works with patients to make small, meaningful changes that fit into their routines and feel realistic over time. Whether someone is working on weight-related goals, diabetes-related nutrition, athletic goals, or general wellness, Lisa focuses on balance, flexibility, and sustainable progress.
Lisa graduated from Purdue University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics/Nutrition, Fitness, and Health. In 2024, she completed a Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Physiology with a concentration in Sports Nutrition at the University of Utah. Her dietetic internship included experience with high-level athletes, weight management support, and chronic condition nutrition in private practice.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys teaching group fitness classes, going to the gym, running, hiking, spending time in the mountains, and cooking or baking with her fiancé and chocolate lab puppy.
Lisa’s care philosophy is centered on balance, confidence, and realistic nutrition support. She believes food should feel approachable and enjoyable, not restrictive or overwhelming.
She works with patients to create personalized strategies that fit their lifestyle, activity level, preferences, and health goals. Her approach emphasizes small, sustainable changes and an additive mindset, helping patients focus on what they can include rather than only what they need to limit.
For patients working on weight management, diabetes-related nutrition, sports nutrition, or active lifestyle goals, Lisa provides practical guidance that supports consistency, flexibility, and confidence around food.
