About me

Hannah E. Rimes, RDN CD, is a registered dietitian nutritionist at Sensibly Sprouted in Bellingham, WA. She supports patients with plant-based nutrition, weight management, heart-health nutrition, chronic condition management, food allergies and intolerances, pregnancy and postpartum nutrition, and sustainable nutrition habits across the lifespan.

Hannah has worked with a wide range of patients, from infants to older adults, which gives her a broad perspective on how nutrition needs can change through different seasons of life. Her experience includes supporting high-risk populations in a WIC clinic and working with seniors managing acute and chronic health conditions in a rehabilitation setting.

Her approach is practical, compassionate, and personalized. Hannah understands that nutrition can feel complicated, especially when patients are managing health conditions, dietary needs, family responsibilities, work, school, stress, and busy routines. She helps patients sort through conflicting nutrition messages and focus on realistic steps that fit their lives.

Hannah enjoys helping patients build sustainable habits while honoring their preferences, culture, lifestyle, and health needs. She has experience supporting people with multiple chronic conditions, unique dietary needs, food allergies and intolerances, plant-based eating patterns, and nutrition needs during pregnancy and postpartum.

Hannah graduated cum laude from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Food and Nutrition and completed her dietetic internship through Central Washington University. She is a registered dietitian and certified dietitian in Washington.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys iced Americanos at coffee shops, trying new restaurants, team trivia nights, podcasts, and spending time with her nieces.

What it's like working with me

Hannah’s care philosophy is centered on meeting patients where they are and building on their existing strengths. She believes meaningful change often starts with small, sustainable steps that feel realistic for each person’s life.

She works with patients to create nutrition strategies that support their health needs, routines, preferences, and goals without relying on one-size-fits-all plans. Her approach is collaborative, encouraging, and grounded in practical problem-solving.

For patients working on weight management, plant-based nutrition, heart-health goals, chronic condition support, food allergies or intolerances, pregnancy and postpartum nutrition, or family nutrition needs, Hannah provides guidance that feels supportive, flexible, and doable. Her goal is to help patients feel more confident and equipped to make food choices that work for their real lives.
