About me

Emma K. Lazor, RDN CD, is a registered dietitian nutritionist at Sensibly Sprouted in Seattle, WA. She supports patients with weight management, diabetes-related nutrition, cardiovascular health, sustainable habit change, and building a positive relationship with food.

Emma’s approach is encouraging, collaborative, and practical. She understands that food can be enjoyable and meaningful, but also stressful, time-consuming, and confusing. Her goal is to meet each patient where they are and work together to create realistic strategies that fit their goals, preferences, routines, and lifestyle.

She believes that all foods can fit into a healthy eating pattern. Her approach often centers on the idea of eat what you want, add what you need, helping patients enjoy the foods they love while building balanced meals, adding supportive nutrients, and creating habits that feel sustainable.

Emma especially enjoys working with patients navigating diabetes and weight-related goals. She emphasizes small, manageable steps that can build confidence over time. Rather than using rigid rules or one-size-fits-all plans, she works with patients to create an individualized game plan that feels supportive and realistic.

Emma graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Dietetics. She has experience in pediatric endocrinology, where she primarily supported patients with diabetes. This background helps inform her thoughtful, patient-centered approach to blood sugar-related nutrition support and everyday food decisions.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys walking, hiking, traveling, trying new foods and restaurants, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. She also has a goal to visit all the national parks and is currently at thirteen.

What it's like working with me

Emma’s care philosophy is centered on meeting patients where they are. She believes nutrition care should feel supportive, flexible, and realistic—not restrictive, stressful, or all-or-nothing.

She works alongside patients to create practical strategies for diabetes-related nutrition, weight management, cardiovascular health, and sustainable food routines. Her approach focuses on small, manageable goals that help patients build confidence over time.

Emma helps patients find ways to support their health while still enjoying food. She believes patients know themselves best, and her role is to provide guidance, encouragement, and evidence-based support as they build habits that fit their real lives.
