MS, RDN, CD
Emily provides virtual nutrition counseling across Washington and supports diabetes and prediabetes, heart and metabolic health, weight management, digestive concerns, women’s health, and pediatric and teen nutrition.

Emily R. Rogers, MS RDN CD, is a registered dietitian nutritionist at Sensibly Sprouted providing virtual nutrition care throughout Washington. She supports patients with prediabetes and type 2 diabetes, heart and metabolic health, weight management, digestive concerns, PCOS and pregnancy nutrition, pediatric and teen nutrition, liver health, healthy aging, and body image or intuitive eating concerns.
Emily was drawn to dietetics through an interest in preventive, educational healthcare. She began college on a nursing track at Lewis-Clark State College before shifting toward nutrition, where she found a field that brought together science, education, food, and long-term health. At the University of Idaho, she worked as a health educator supporting programming around cooking, nutrition, alcohol education, sexual health, and broader wellness. That experience strengthened her interest in making health information easier to understand and more useful in everyday life.
Emily earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Idaho and a Master of Science in Dietetics from the University of Idaho. Her education and health-education background inform a care style that emphasizes clear explanations, practical problem-solving, and helping patients understand the reasoning behind recommendations.
Emily especially enjoys helping people sort through conflicting nutrition messages, challenge common nutrition myths, and feel more confident advocating for their health. She values genuine relationships and sees food as both nourishment and a meaningful source of connection. Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time outdoors, swimming, snowboarding, hiking, camping, crafting, swing dancing, watching movies, and connecting with her church and community.
Emily’s care philosophy is centered on education, collaboration, and helping patients feel more confident navigating nutrition information. She enjoys myth-busting and simplifying complex or conflicting messages so patients can understand what matters most for their health.
She works to build genuine relationships and create space for questions, curiosity, and shared decision-making. Rather than handing patients rules without context, Emily explains the reasoning behind recommendations and helps translate evidence-based guidance into practical steps that fit daily life.
Her goal is to help patients feel better equipped to make informed nutrition choices, advocate for themselves in healthcare settings, and build habits that support their health over time.
