Casey A. Lauritsen, MS RDN CD, is a registered dietitian nutritionist at Sensibly Sprouted in Seattle, WA. She supports patients with weight management, sports nutrition, gastrointestinal concerns, food confidence, body composition goals, and sustainable nutrition habits.
Casey’s approach is personalized, evidence-based, and grounded in real life. She works with people who want to feel better in their bodies, build confidence around food, and create habits that last without relying on quick fixes, rigid rules, or all-or-nothing thinking.
Her nutrition counseling style is collaborative and supportive. She meets patients where they are and helps them move forward at a pace that feels realistic. Whether someone is working on weight-related goals, fueling an active lifestyle, managing digestive concerns, or reducing stress around food, Casey focuses on practical strategies that fit each person’s needs, preferences, and routine.
Casey has a strong interest in sports and exercise nutrition, including fueling for active individuals, strength training, body composition goals, and performance-supportive eating patterns. She also helps patients build balanced, whole-food-focused routines that support long-term health and everyday energy.
Casey earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Master of Science in Nutrition from Bastyr University, completing the Didactic Program in Dietetics as part of her graduate training. She completed her dietetic internship through Bastyr University in 2025, where she gained experience across clinical nutrition, outpatient and private practice care, and professional sports settings.
Outside of work, Casey enjoys experimenting with new recipes, baking, strength training, listening to music, watching favorite shows, enjoying coffee, and making time for rest and self-care.
Casey’s care philosophy is centered on collaboration, confidence, and sustainable progress. She believes nutrition should feel supportive and doable, not restrictive or overwhelming.
She helps patients build habits that fit their real lives while supporting their health, activity level, preferences, and goals. Her approach emphasizes evidence-based guidance, practical problem-solving, and flexibility around food.
For patients working on weight management, sports nutrition, digestive health, or improving their relationship with food, Casey focuses on steady, realistic steps that help build confidence over time. Her goal is to help patients feel more empowered in their nutrition choices while keeping food enjoyable, satisfying, and part of a balanced life.
