About me

Brooke R. Ibarra, MS RDN CD, is a registered dietitian nutritionist at Sensibly Sprouted with a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and experience providing evidence-based nutrition care across a wide range of health needs.

Brooke has particular experience supporting patients with diabetes and prediabetes, digestive concerns, kidney disease, heart health, food allergies and celiac disease, and nutrition needs related to aging. She also works with patients pursuing weight-management goals, including those using GLP-1 medications, and provides guidance for concerns such as thyroid conditions, PCOS, menopause, liver health, and plant-based eating.

Brooke values meaningful relationships with her patients and enjoys helping people make realistic changes that support their health over time. She provides virtual nutrition counseling to patients throughout Washington.

Outside of work, Brooke enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors, completing jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

What it's like working with me

Brooke believes effective nutrition care begins with meeting each patient where they are. She takes time to understand each person’s health history, goals, preferences, challenges, and daily life before developing a plan together.

Her approach is evidence-based, collaborative, and practical. Rather than expecting perfection or relying on rigid rules, Brooke helps patients identify realistic steps they can maintain over time. She encourages questions, values patient input, and explains the reasoning behind her recommendations so patients can feel informed and involved in their care.

Brooke’s goal is to build a supportive relationship in which patients feel heard, respected, and confident making choices that fit both their health needs and their lives.
