Alexia L. Davila-Hicks, RDN CD, is a registered dietitian nutritionist at Sensibly Sprouted in Seattle, WA. She supports patients with weight management, gastrointestinal concerns, women’s health, heart health, diabetes-related nutrition, hypertension, high cholesterol, and plant-based or plant-forward eating patterns.
Alexia’s approach is balanced, practical, and personalized. She believes nutrition should support health without taking away the enjoyment, flexibility, and satisfaction that make food part of everyday life. She works with patients to create realistic strategies that fit their goals, preferences, routines, and lifestyle.
Her care style emphasizes whole foods, sustainable habits, and a supportive relationship with food. Whether someone is working on weight-related goals, digestive health, blood sugar-related goals, heart-health nutrition, or a more plant-based way of eating, Alexia helps patients identify clear next steps that feel manageable and realistic.
Alexia has experience in weight loss programs, rural health programming, and military nutrition counseling. This background has shaped her ability to support patients with a wide range of health needs, life circumstances, and personal goals.
She graduated from Central Washington University in 2019 and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2021. She is a registered dietitian and certified dietitian in Washington.
Outside of work, Alexia enjoys experimenting with new recipes, watching reality TV, staying active with barre workouts, spending time in her garden, and relaxing with her dog, Ruby.
Alexia’s care philosophy is centered on balance, sustainability, and personalized support. She believes healthy eating should feel practical and enjoyable, not restrictive or all-or-nothing.
She helps patients build nutrition habits around whole foods while still making room for the foods they love. Her approach is collaborative and realistic, with a focus on strategies that fit each person’s health needs, schedule, culture, preferences, and goals.
For patients working on weight management, digestive health, women’s health, diabetes-related nutrition, or heart-health goals, Alexia provides guidance that is supportive, flexible, and grounded in everyday life. Her goal is to help patients feel more confident in their food choices and supported in building habits they can continue over time.
